Feeds by Email
With FeedPigeon, you can control your feeds just by sending an email. Want to subscribe, unsubscribe, or change how often you get updates? Just tell us what you want, and our feathered friends will handle the rest.
Find a list of all supported time zones here. You can include this when subscribing by sending a command like !subscribe <feed_url> daily 21:00 Europe/London Mon,Wed,Fri to subscribe@feedpigeon.co.uk for a 9pm delivery of your feed on just Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Easy as flap.
How to Subscribe
To subscribe to a feed by email, just send !subscribe <feed_url> to subscribe@feedpigeon.co.uk.
You can send either:
- A direct link to a valid RSS or Atom feed
- Or a website URL — FeedPigeon will do its best to sniff out the feed from there
Extra Notes for Smooth Flying:
- ✅ If your subscription works, you'll get a confirmation email right away.
- ⏰ Want your feed at a specific time? Include a 24-hour time (like 13 for 1pm) and time zone (like Europe/London) in your subscribe command in the body of the email.
- 📅 Deliveries are in realtime (60 minute intervals - and only delivered if a new article is found) if you do not include a time in the subscribe command. However, if you include a time in the subscribe command they are daily.
- ❌ To unsubscribe, just send the same feed link using the unsubscribe command like
!unsubscribe <feed_url>unsubscribe@feedpigeon.co.uk. - 🚫 Feeds without publish dates aren’t supported (even pigeons need timestamps).
- 🔁 From time to time, we’ll ask you to confirm your subscription — this helps clean out unused inboxes and sleepy birds.
How to Unsubscribe
To unsubscribe to a feed by email, just send the command !unsubscribe <feed_url> to unsubscribe@feedpigeon.co.uk.
If the unsubscribe is successful, you'll get a confirmation email right away.
